Norway Spruce Picea abies is a species of spruce Picea native to Europe, from the Massif Central in France north to northern Norway, and east to the Ural mountains, where it intergrades and hybridises with Siberian Spruce Picea obovata.

It is a large evergreen coniferous tree growing to 30-60 m tall.

It is extensively cultivated as a timber tree, an ornamental tree, and for christmas trees, in Europe, and to a lesser extent also in North America.

Pests that can cause economic damage include:
