Crucifer crops include a wide variety of plants within the family Brassicaceae. The name "Crucifer" comes from the old taxonomic classification for the family, Cruciferae. It is also commonly known as the mustard family. A wide variety of crops are included such as:
- Rape (Brassica napus)
- Turnip (Brassica rapa subsp. rapa)
- Radish (Raphanus sativus)
- Collards (Brassica oleracea)
- Cabbage (Brassica oleracea var. oleracea)
- Broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica)
- Cauliflower (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis)
- Horseradish (Armoracia rusticana)
- Watercress (Nasturtium officinale)
- India mustard (Brassica juncea)
- Black mustard (Brassica nigra)
- White mustard (Sinapis alba)
