White Spruce Picea glauca is a species of spruce Picea native to northern North America, from Newfoundland west to Alaska, and south to the Black Hills of Dakota and the northern Appalachian mountains.

It is a medium-sized evergreen coniferous tree growing to 15-35 m tall.

It is extensively cultivated as a timber tree, an ornamental tree, and for christmas trees, in North America.
