About Me
Rob is currently a Professor in the Department of Plant Soil and Insect Sciences. He has worked in extension and diagnostic plant pathology his entire professional career; primarily with vegetable and ornamental crops, and diseases caused by nematodes. He maintains an active applied research program and teaches Plant Pathology, Diagnostic Plant Pathology, Mycology and Forest Pathology. Rob has been involved in several projects in Bangladesh and is currently a USDA collaborating scientist with Dr. Meah working on IPM of Eggplant Diseases, and Establishment of a Plant Disease Clinic at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU). In 2006, Rob received a Fulbright Scholar teaching appointment to teach Clinical Plant Pathology at BAU. He has chaired the APS Diagnostics, and Ornamentals & Turfgrass Committees, and has been very active in the Northeast Division of APS where he has served on several committees and as Secretary/Treasurer, Vice President and President. Rob served as NED-APS Councilor 2006-2009.
