About Me
Garrett reviewed literature and prepared diagnostic resources as a research specialist at North Carolina State University and worked closely with the NC Plant Disease and Insect Clinic. He has conducted research on species of Phytophthora commonly found in runoff water during ornamental plant production and the susceptibility of wetland plants to zoospores of five species of Phytophthora. Garrett received a Master's degree from Clemson University in 2013 and has been pursuing his interest in plant pathology and plant disease diagnostics. Currently Garrett is a research associate in the BioAg division at Novozymes, based in the Research Triangle Park.
