Purpose
Used for sporulation of Phytophthora infestans.
Ingredients

| dH2O | 500 ml |
| Rye seed | 100 g |
| Dextrose | 5 g |
Instructions
- Steam rye seed in water for 30 minutes.
- Filter through cheesecloth and 1/4” filter paper pulp.
- Add dextrose and dilute extract with an equal volume of distilled water.
- Fill to 1/4” level in flasks and autoclave for 10 min at 115°C.
- Sporulation of Phytophthora infestans is usually obtained after 1 week at 20°C
