Potato dextrose agar (quarter strength)

Purpose
A non-selective media useful for sporulation of fungi that do not do well on rich or deficient media.
Ingredients
Main Recipe
| Ingredient | *1L* | *500mL* |
|---|---|---|
| Distilled water | 1 L | 500 mL |
| Granulated Agar | 5 g | 2.5 g |
| Potato dextrose agar | 7.6 g | 3.8 g |
Instructions
- Mix ingredients with water
- Autoclave and cool to 50-55°C
- Pour into petri dishes
