Loblolly Pine Pinus taeda is a species of pine Pinus native to eastern North America, from Delaware south to central Florida, and west to Oklahoma and central Texas.

It is a large evergreen coniferous tree growing to 25-35 m tall, rarely 45 m.

It is extensively cultivated as a timber tree in eastern North America, and more rarely in Europe and Asia.
