Red Pine Pinus resinosa is a species of pine Pinus native to eastern North America, from Nova Scotia west to southeastern Manitoba, and south to northern Illinois and West Virginia.

It is a large evergreen coniferous tree growing to 20-30 m tall, rarely 45 m.

It is extensively cultivated as a timber tree and an ornamental tree in eastern North America.
