Maritime Pine Pinus pinaster is a species of pine Pinus native to the western Mediterranean region, from Morocco and Portugal east to Italy and north to western France.
It is a medium-sized evergreen coniferous tree growing to 25-35 m tall, rarely 45 m.
It is extensively cultivated as a timber and ornamental tree in Europe.
