Purpose
Used to isolate fungi from soil.
Ingredients
| Ingredient | 1 L |
|---|---|
| distilled water | 1 L |
| glucose | 5 g |
| yeast extract | 2 g |
| NaNO3 | 1 g |
| MgSO4•7H20 | 0.5 g |
| KH2PO4 | 1 g |
| chloromycetin | 50 mg (actual) |
| oxgall | 1 g |
| sodium propionate | 1 g |
| agar | 15 g |
| streptomycin sulfate | 71 mg |
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients except streptomycin sulfate
- Autoclave
- Cool to 50-55°C
- Add streptomycin sulfate
