Malt extract agar

Purpose
For isolation of wood rooting fungi
Ingredients
| Ingredient | 1 L |
|---|---|
| Distilled water | 1 L |
| Malt extract | 25 g |
| Agar | 20 g |
| Lactic acid (25%) | 1 mL |
Instructions
- Mix water, malt extract and agar
- Autoclave
- After cooling, add Lactic acid
Notes
- 34 grams of malt extract agar may be substituted for the malt extract and agar.
- Do not over-sterilize or agar will be hydrolyzed.
