Purpose
isolation of Macrophomina phaseolina from soybean roots
Ingredients
- Clean 1 gal. milk jugs
- 300 g Vermiculite
- 1L DI H2O
- 1L 2x Potato dextrose broth
Instructions
- Add Vermiculite and DI H2O in milk jugs.
- Autoclave for 60 minutes.
- Inoculate with Macrophomina isolate. Let grow 1 month. Add to microplots at 200g/0.092 m3
- 24 jugs for microplots 5-2002.
Notes
- This had too much liquid - decrease to 1-1.5 total.
