Michasia Harris: Digital Image Specialist

Michasia is the Digital Image Specialist at the Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health at the University of Georiga. She is a Junior at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College attending to attain an Associate of Science Degree then transfer to the University of Georgia Tifton Campus. Harris’ goal is to major in Agriscience and Environmental Systems. Her duties at CISEH include entering information for images, releasing images and entering subject codes for the Bugwood Image Database System. I also took a summer off from working at the Center for Invasive Species and Ecosystem Health to work in the Entomology Department in Tifton working on insects associated with cotton and soybeans. One bug we focused heavily on was the kudzu bug. I helped collect data and also analyzed and created charts and graphs for the data we collected.
