Purpose

For the isolation of Actinomycetes.

Ingredients

Ingredient 1 L 4 L
Agar 12 g 48 g
Purified chitin 2 g 8 g

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients, autoclave.
  2. Cool to 50°C.
  3. Adjust pH to 7.5-9.0 with 5N NaOH.
