10-15 mm (V-VI és VIII-IX). Active in daytime, and comes to light in night. Bivoltine, the larva hibernates. The caterpillar’s (VII and IX*IV) food plants are members of Umbelliferae family (i.e. Carum verticillatum). Locally known only from Austria, Slovakia and Hungary in CE.
